Cresta Mowana Safari Resort and Spa have announced that the refurbishment mentioned at Indaba 2017 will begin in the second quarter of 2018. Mowana guests will undoubtedly appreciate the changes once work has been completed. The changes we are making will include the following:
- A soft refashioning in our bedrooms
- Redesign of the Serondella Restaurant
- Redesign of the Savuti Bar
- Redesign of the Boma area
- Updating the reception area
- Updating the conference rooms
The upgrades will be done in stages to keep disruption to a minimum for in-house guests as Mowana will remain open throughout. We are sure you will agree that once all work has been completed, we will be in a position to offer you and your clients a truly first class experience.

John Gray, the general manager of Mowana said that the hotel would remain open throughout the refurbishment. “Upgrades will be done in stages to keep disruption to a minimum for in-house guests as Mowana will remain open throughout.” Mokwena Morulane, the Cresta Hotels MD, said the company would spend P31million (€2.6m) on the refurbishment.
Cresta Mowana Safari Resort & Spa has 108 luxury air-conditioned bedrooms and suites, all with river views, a nine-hole golf course and fully equipped spa.
