Created in 1982, Desert & Delta Safaris is considered the most established safari circuit in Botswana. Our safari portfolio consists of eight premier safari properties all managed by local citizens. Each of the properties offer stunning luxury accommodation with warm local hospitality, all set within Botswana’s most famous safari regions.
In recent years, we have taken great strides in improving the Desert & Delta Safaris circuit. Some of the recent changes include the extensive refurbishment of Chobe Game Lodge including the introduction of Africa’s first electric safari fleet; the complete rebuild of both Camp Okavango and Camp Moremi (the original Desert & Delta Safaris properties) into modern, luxury safari camps; and most recently, extensive refurbishments to both Camp Xakanaxa and Savute Safari Lodge.
With the evolution of the Desert & Delta Safaris brand came the need for us to create a new and exciting online space from which to showcase Botswana’s favourite safari circuit. The new online space creates a better understanding of what a safari to Botswana entails with the use of exciting video footage, fresh photo content and detailed product information.
The new interactive map beautifully showcases the full Desert & Delta Safaris circuit allowing visitors to the site to better understand each camp’s unique location and how they work when booked in combination. The property pages cover detailed information on each camp with a full feature video, image gallery, factsheet and camp layout – allowing travel partners and potential travellers to understand the unique experiences on offer at each property. Furthermore, the itineraries section showcases the variety of experiences on offer when combining several of our properties using our Best of Desert & Delta Safaris and Ultimate Family Safari Packages.
