Our New Interactive Website.
The management and staff at Firefinch Holidays locked horns and came up with a state of the art website that is very informative and educational. Even though the site does not feature e-commerce, it is very worth visiting it as you will be able to get all the information that you may need or require. From information about the places of interest, game reserves, mobile safari expeditions, fly in safari packages, excursions and accommodation, just to name a few, are all in one place. For instance, if you need to self-drive, the place of interest section compiles information on mostly visited places with places where to camp, entry points and with distance that one will cover. Also, the information states the dangers of travelling alone, the amenities available and you will know what to expect and not to expect in the places.

If then again, you want to explore Botswana on wheels and under canvas, the mobile safari section in our site features set date departure safaris. In each safari, there is the sample itinerary, what is included and what is not included, places to be visited. Once more, if you are in Botswana for a short period of time and you need to do something before you return to your base, there is the excursions section that have short trips that can take up to half day or a full day. These types of safaris will give you a glimpse of what we offer and they will leave you wanting for some more. You will now have a chance of preparing for your next adventure as you have witnessed the highlights. The Excursions section features trips departing from Maun, the gateway to the Okavango Delta, Kasane, the gateway to Chobe National Park, as well as the capital city, Gaborone, where finance takes place.

The fly in section features packages that require clients to fly to destinations using a small plane. This is the luxurious way of travel. They comprise more than 2 nights in one place, either in the Delta, Moremi, Chobe/Linyanti/Savute, CKGR or Nxai Pans. Some packages combine one or more 2 destinations. The packages are all inclusive of meals, accommodation and activities. If one is not satisfied with what is available on the Fly in safari section, you can jump to the Accommodation Section where we have profiled a number of luxury lodges and camps according to their region. Here you can pick a lodge/camp of choice in each region, drop us an email and we will add transport and give you a quote. The accommodation section is best for those who want to plan their own fly in safaris. Maybe if you just want to relax in one place, still you pick your lodge/camp of choice and we will give you a quote.

On the other hand, we have a downloadable PDF manual/booklet that contains safari packages that one can pick from. The manual is interactive with hi res images on each package. You can quote a reference number and drop us an email. We will assist you. The rates on the manual are just a guideline and were correct at the time we uploaded the manual to our site. The packages are for the year 2015 and prices or rates are for the months of January-March and December 2015, the green season in Botswana, the most affordable time to travel. For bookings for travel in December, the rates still apply. As for other times of travel, please inquire for shoulder and peak season rates. The 2016 manual is currently being designed and it will be available online during the month of June. If you need one, you can use our newsletter section to request this manual.

Lastly, we have the Hottest Deals. The Hottest Deals is a section of the mobile safaris that do not have a set date departure. These explorations on wheels and under canvas suitable for small groups departure where guests are flexible with time of departure. There are more like the Mobile Safaris and the itineraries can be used by self-drive adventurers. If you need to be taken to the places, you inquire and we provide you with the quote or if you want to take yourself there, you inquire with the number of vehicles, the number of people travelling and we will give you a quote.
