New for Oddballs’ Camp
New tents: Oddballs’ has undergone a significant change. The tents have all been replaced and are now 3m x 3m with new pine flooring and new seating. They have been rotated, moved and raised to maximise the breathtaking views of the Delta but are still simple with quirky, minimalist furnishings to retain the Oddballs’ vibe.
New beds: the beds are now futon style with headboards and built-in shelves plus there are hooks and canvas pockets to store essentials.
New family: there is a new family tent close to the central guest areas (and next to the other existing family tent) which means that parents could return to the campfire, if they would like to, and still be able to hear their children if they are needed.
New guest area: the honeymoon chalet has been removed to make way for a new chilled guest area created with a barefoot, relaxed beach vibe.
New at all of our Delta camps
There is a new full-time masseuse at all three Delta camps (during high season) offering various treatments including a new signature treatment designed especially for walkers. Africology products are used which ties in with the camps’ philosophy of using natural products that are environmentally friendly.
All of our Delta guides have undergone a refresher week-long intense training with the nature guide training of Botswana.
A new wine list is on offer at all three camps from small, owner-run farms that support conservation initiatives or are just spectacular and need to be shared. Each camp has a unique hand-selected list that complements the meals and settings of each camp and provides a better than expected wine for the price point.
