Duba and Duba

Great Plains Conservation is delighted to announce two new camps in the Duba Plains concession of the Okavango Delta. The rebuilt Duba Plains Camp opened on 1 March 2017 and the recently opened Duba Expedition Camp will now stay as a permanent, second camp in the concession giving two high-quality price options for guests seeking the unique Duba experience.

Opened on 1 March 2017 the new Duba Plains Camp, built on the site of the old dismantled camp of the same name, promises to be the very finest in the Okavango.

Five vast guest tents of 120sqm, plus a two bedroom tented villa – the Duba Plains Suite – will each have private plunge pools, rosewood decks, inside and outside showers, sumptuous bath, outside sala bed, Canon professional camera equipment and Swarovski binoculars.

The central mess tent will have a private and communal dining areas, interactive show-kitchen, wine cellar, library and media room. From here the extended deck is the camp’s focal point, with a fire pit, day beds and dining overlooking the swamp.

Like in all Great Plains camps, yoga mats and weights are available in each tent.
