unexpected aspects. You will be accompanied by experienced Guides and a highly professional team including your own driver and cook.
The Okavango Delta is a paradise for birds. Gliding through the reeds in a mokoro, the traditional dugout canoe, gives you a wonderful opportunity for bird spotting as you explore the many inlets and islands of the Delta.
In the western part of the Delta, the Moremi Game Reserve is alive with beauty; woodlands and water-scapes are home to thousands of species of wildlife. In your private camp, the evenings around the fire will be serenaded by the bell-like sounds of thousands of reed frogs with the occasional distant roaring of a big cat. Among the many wonderful surprises you will find in Savute, the ‘lost river’, are the rock paintings left behind by our hunter-gatherer ancestors. This area is also the privileged domain of leopards, zebras, giraffes, and endangered wild dogs
To the north are the unmissable Tsodilo Hills renowned for their rock carvings. The Chobe River, bordering with Namibia, is the gathering point for large herds. This protected area offers passageways for migratory species, and you will be amazed by the sight of herds of buffalo, zebra, families of elephants, hippos, giraffes and baboons.
Central Kalahari Game Reserve (CKGR) offers some of the best summer wildlife viewing opportunites in Africa. Located in the Kalahari Desert in the central
part of Botswana, this reserve is the largest conservation area in the country and one of the largest in the world. The CKGR is home to the legendary Kalahari black-maned lion as well as some of the world’s best cheetah viewing.
The great salt lakes of Makgadigadi Nxai Pan provide a wonderful haven for white flamingos. Continuing south, the protected Rhino Sanctuary is a place to see with its reintroduced black and white rhinos.
