Mashatu Game Reserve – Who’s Seen What?

In February 2019, it was decided that game statistics should be recorded at Mashatu Game Reserve. And since then, the statistics have been spectacular. An average of 14 kills are watched per month by our guests, from the stalk to the actual killing of the prey. July had a record of 19 with 17 in August. Mashatu is renowned for exceptional predator viewings, with daily sightings of lion, leopard, cheetah, spotted hyena and African wildcat, but it’s the more unique species which sometimes surprise guests. Regular sightings of Brown hyena, honey badgers, porcupines and bat-eared foxes are now delighting guests too.
