The last 6 months have been outstanding for Ngoma Safari Lodge in terms of the lodge’s standing on the independent online review forum, TripAdvisor. After just a year of being listed on Trip Advisor (www.tripadvisor.com), the lodge is ranked 2nd of the 21 lodges listed in the Chobe area. At Ngoma we feel highly honoured by this result. Guests continue to leave terrific comments such as “tramaufenthalt”, “dream stay” left by Guggi; “hезабываемые впечатления” sent from Russia meaning “unforgettable experience” and “magnifico” which needs no translation -thank you Steffano T!
With visitors continuing to leave positive comments (in several languages), it is clear nothing has been lost in translation. Just what has got our guests talking? Well, the teeming game, “SO MANY ELEPHANTS” and the abundance of water birds are just two of the many topics that have our guests very excited. The scenery has frequently been described as “awe inspiring”, “wonderful” and “perfect”, while our Ngoma Safari Lodge team has been complimented as “world class”, “friendly” “with nothing ever being too much trouble”. Our food? “Exceptional”. Rooms? “Luxurious”. So in case you had not yet heard, Ngoma Safari Lodge is firmly and unquestionably, a growing favourite in the Chobe region.
Ngoma Safari Lodge is 55km from the nearest town Kasane and 135km from the natural wonder that is Victoria Falls. The ease of access allows for a convenient point between the must see Victoria Falls, the Okavango Delta, Zambia and Namibia. The lodge is fortunate to lay claim to one of the most spectacular views of the Caprivi Floodplain and the Chobe River – the lifeblood of the area.
Ngoma Safari Lodge, a joint community and privately funded project developed with the Chobe Enclave Conservation Trust (CECT), is committed to making a sustainable difference to the local communities and their environment. Through its socially responsible programmes, the lodge enriches the lives of those living within this community. It is our commitment to uplift and involve the local community that we believe gives the lodge the warmth and hospitality that is so apparent in guest comments. The fact that all our staff come from the 5 villages involved in CECT, simply adds to the energy of the lodge and the guest experience.
