johannesburg – kasane – SAVUTE AREA (3 NIGHTS): Guest arrival at Kasane Airport (landing time expected around 13h00). Upon arrival you will collect your luggage and meet your private Mobile Camping Safari Guide who will stay with you for the rest of your safari. After a short introduction, you will leave Kasane and enter the Chobe National Park. The Chobe National Park is the second largest national park in Botswana and covers 10,566 square kilometres. This park has one of the greatest concentrations of game found on the African continent. Its uniqueness in the abundance of wildlife and the true African nature of the region, offers a photographic safari experience of a lifetime. You will drive straight towards the Savute Marsh entering the Park at Ngoma Gate. Picnic lunch will be served en-route in the shadow of a magnificent tree. To reach our camp can take the entire afternoon, depending on which animals and interesting things we find during our journey. While we are en-route to our next destination, the back-up team will set up our first mobile camp before our arrival. Our destination is Savute situated in Southern Chobe National Park, one of Africa’s most densely populated predator areas and is also well known for its sightings of elephants. The Savuti Marsh offers an ever-changing spectacle of birds and wildlife. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives with leisure time to relax during the heat of the day. Overnight at our Mobile tented camp on a fully inclusive basis (meals, drinks, park entry fees)
okavango EASTERN KHWAI (3 NIGHTS) Departing – after a morning game drive – we make our way towards Eastern Khwai Concession in the Okavango Delta. This game reserve has no fences, hence allowing unobstructed seasonal movement of game which makes this a largely natural area. This is a paradise for birds, general game and predators alike. Completely varied vegetation makes this area very special. We will stop en-route for a simple lunch of sandwiches and fruit, before continuing towards our camp. Afternoon game drive in Khwai and evening arrival at our camp, with enough time to settle in before having our dinner. We will enjoy the next days exploring the private concession with our days consisting – as usual -of early morning and late afternoon game drives in search of the perfect picture. Various predators (such as lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog, hyaena), antelope (such as impala, lechwe, reedbuck, tsessebe) and other game such as giraffe, zebra, etc., and of course also the birds inhabit this area. Hippopotamus are abundant in the channels and lagoons that make up vast areas of the Delta. Upon return to our campsite around late morning, a delicious brunch will be served. Thereafter you have time to relax in/around camp. We will explore the Khwai Concession in great detail, which is sure to provide many unforgettable game-viewing experiences and great pictures of the African wildlife. Overnight at our Mobile tented camp on a fully inclusive basis (meals, drinks, park entry fees)
